The Svalbard photo presentation has been uploaded to Youtube, check it out as it features some of my compositions!
I've got a new project that I'll be working on for the upcoming month or two. I got a request from a famous photographer to create a ~10 minute long, ambient tune for one of his presentations.
The presentation is focused on his trip to Svalbard during the autumn of 2011, and the idea is to create a mysterious, ambient, cool track which will play in the background during a slideshow of his photos.
Very excited for this project, it's something that I've never done before so we'll see how it goes!
I've been composing some tracks for an upcoming iOS game, code named iGoo. Though for various reasons the development of the game has been postponed, so I've made two of the tunes available to listen to until the development is started again.
The first tune is a very positive and happy sounding fellow:
Oh goo! by BauAir Studios
The second tune continues in the same spirit, though it is slightly more complex with a quite different ending part:
Goo this! by BauAir Studios
Hope you like them!
Hey folks!
Been a long time since I posted some news, as always it is caused by me being super busy with this thing called real life. Now that things have settled down again I've managed to complete another project for the gsCEPT university. This time they wanted me to produce a short 10 second intro tune for their presentations. They gave me a pretty hardstyle electronic kind of tune as reference, and I came up with this:
A new Flash game called Project Cupid that I created the music and sfx for has been finished and is now looking for sponsorship over at FGL.
Check out the brief music and sponsor video here:
While chilling out in the garden at my parent's summer house, I got a request via Twitter from my old game dev friend Amidos to create some tunes for his new iPhone game.
Of course I got really excited to do a new project with Amidos so I had to say yes! The game is scheduled to be released during the autumn. Expect more updates as the game progresses!
I got a request over Twitter from @hiive, asking me if I could help out to create the trailer for his upcoming game Creatures And Castles. After seeing some screenshots and footages of the game I got really excited to help him out, so I decided to take a break from my summer vacation and got started on the trailer! The finished result can be viewed here. It was a really fun project and Andrew was great to work with, I'm looking forward to any projects we might do in the future. Now go out and buy the game, it's available for both iOS and Chrome Web Store!
Just finished creating the trailer for Secret Base's upcoming game Tobe's Great Adventure! I'm thrilled that the great guys over at Secret Base came back to me for another video gig. I previously made a game play video for Tobe's Vertical Adventure a few months back.
The news section will most likely be quite dead during summer. I'll be gone most of the time, but I'll bring with me my music laptop in case the urge to scribble down some tunes grows too big. Have a great summer and take care!
The voting results over at Scenecompos.net are in, our track ended up at nr 6 out of 13 contestants, not a bad result for a first timer!
You can listen to the tunes and see the voting over at http://scenecompos.net/compos, the track I worked on together with Elrinth can be found here.
Since I'm currently out of music projects to work on, I will put my musical focus on a compo this month!
The compo is for scenecompos.net, namely the Spring Compo.
The compo description goes like:
Your task is to write the next hit for the scene! The sun is coming out, it's getting warmer, the longer days are back and it's time to write a spring/summer hit! Submit your streamed music entry (it can also be a chiptune) until April 10th 2011 on this platform!
I'll be working with my old mate Elrinth on this compo, hopefully we'll be able to create something sweet! ;)
I'mm extremely glad to announce that Memorize has been released on the Android Market! It has been great fun to be involved in this project, which is my first step into the mobile arena!
Digital Oak developed it extremely fast and provided a great description of the requirements for the music and sfx, making my work a breeze. I will most probably work a bit more on the music to add some more variation to the tunes and to add some general polish.
If you've got an Android phone, please click the image to check it out! It's free after all!
Just got a new project confirmed, to create music and sfx for an upcoming Andriod puzzle game developed by Digital Oak. I'm really excited about the project as it will be my first one for mobile devices!
I'm extremely glad to announce that I will once again be working with the talented Amidos, whom I worked together with on Pace Maker! I will be creating some music and sfx for his upcoming Flash game Cupid.
Got this guitar two weeks ago and while I haven't been able to use it much yet, the time that I have used it has been great! It feels like a very solid guitar both in the setup and in the sound, and it is very versatile with its humbucker/coil switch. Also it looks incredible of course!
The gsCEPT show reel video has just been published over at www.gscept.com. I must say that I had a blast working on the music and sfx for it, it was the first time for me composing for video. It was difficult in the beginning to get a feel for the video and to find suitable sounds/themes to each clip, but I think it turned out quite nice! Would love to do something like this again!

I've always liked AKG and I've used the k271 MKII for 2½ years now, but I felt that I needed an open pair in order to be able to keep them on for longer periods of time while mixing or doing late night recordings. So after a lot of searching around and reading reviews, I finally decided on the AKG K-701:
We'll see if they are any good once they've arrived! :)
Last week I finished the work for the Cardinal Quest trailer! It turned out pretty well I must say (please note that I have not made the chiptune).
The game has now got a project page over at 8-bit Funding, so please check it out and send these guys some money, they surely deserve it!
Also got a new project to produce a trailer video (and if time allows, custom made trailer music) for a browser RPG game called Cardinal Quest!
Got a new project, to produce a 4 minute long track for the gsCEPT show reel.
I've finished working on the music and sfx part of the game Critter Crossing. Check out the Credits page for more information about the game! We are currently looking for feedback, so please head over to FGL to check it out and write a note about your impressions of the game and audio!
Got a very cool commercial project for writing 6 tunes and some sfx for a Flash based puzzle game. This means that I will have to put all other projects on hold for the moment until this one is finished. I am thrilled to get started!
Got a new project for a cool farmer game (think Harvest Moon), which involves atleast 4 chillout orchestral tracks (one per season). Very exciting!
Just uploaded a new version of the BauAir Studios webpage, featuring a facelift and a more music oriented approach. I also updated the logo to use a nicer font and more interesting colors.
The music and sfx work for the Flash game PaceMaker has been completed!
The music and sfx work for the university game project at gsCEPT, Little Princess Computer Getaway, has been completed! It was welcomed with a warm applause and some tears of joy.
Got a project for a Flash game called PaceMaker, to create two tunes and some sfx!
Got a project to do three music tunes and all the sfx for a university game project at gsCEPT.
